This environmental impact statement (EIS) will evaluate the potential environmental impacts from
the JPARC proposed action and alternatives in addition to a No Action Alternative. The anticipated
environmental resource areas to be studied in the draft EIS include the following:
- Airspace Operations - Airspace, Noise, Air Quality, and Safety (Ground and Air)
- Natural Resources - Geology, Soils, Water, and Biological Resources
- Cultural Resources - Cultural, Alaska Native, and Subsistence Resources
- Human Resources - Land Use, Recreation and Visual Resources, Socioeconomics, Environmental Justice, and Risks to Children
- Community Infrastructure - Public Services, Hazardous Materials and Waste, and Transportation
